Misión del puesto

Design, build, deploy, integrate, maintain and monitor APIs that can make an impact in all of the user journey at Rappi.

Roles and responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

Build, implement, and maintain APIs for serving data and ML Models for the user app.

Contribute to engineering best practices for scaling and designing/building software that is reliable, scalable, and secure

Be responsible for the implementation, testing, and release of APIs

Work closely with Data scientists and Data Engineers to design systems for executing ML models

Key Requirements

Experience in coding professionally (at least two years) in a dynamically typed language such as Python, GO.

Experience in FastAPI, Flask

Experience working with relational databases – MySQL, Postgres, or other, and proficiency in SQL

Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes

Quantitative background in statistics, computer science, physics, math, engineering or another technical field.

Have strong problem-solving skills and like to work on complex problems

Have a startup mindset

Experience in Microservices architectures

Additional Information

Desired Requirements :
AWS SageMaker it’s a plus

AWS Personalization it´s a plus

Experience in machine learning algorithms and libraries such as Scikit-learn, xgboost, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch it’s a plus
