Responsibilities:
Assist with project contract document reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions
Assist with review and report on project mock-ups
Perform periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
Assist in project field performance testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
Assist in project task management and coordination
Participate in continuing education
Possible out of province travel
Perform various office related tasks
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong customer service commitment
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Professional attitude
Commitment to succeed
General understanding of building science principles or building envelope components is a plus
Valid British Columbia driver’s license
